R.Wilkes Transport Chesterfield pride themselves on the service provided to all clients since the business began in March 2005.
The Company has continued to grow the business, based on the quality and reputation of its transport, storage and recycling business.
The transport side can cater for any size of delivery from a parcel to an articulated lorry load, and to any destination in the world, although the UK is more the norm. R Wilkes can deal with any type of haulage requirements you may have in the UK or abroad.
The Company has its own fleet of vehicles ranging from Berlingo vans right up to articulated vehicles, curtain siders and sprinter vans with specialist tailgates.
In 2013 moved into a 16,000sq ft unit in Holmewood and decided to invest back into the community by employing local people.
In 2021 invested further by building an additional 4,000sq ft unit onto the premises.
All of R Wilkes Transports vehicles are fitted with state-of-the-art tracking and vehicle monitoring system allowing to see where any vehicle is when the expected delivery will be made, and the condition of the roads allowing the redirection of deliveries if required to ensure delivery times are still met. Most importantly, however, this system allows R Wilkes Transport to keep you informed of exactly where your load is.
The company carry out planned deliveries to a date and time to suit you but are also able to arrange and deliver same day and next day at very short notice.
